The new Smart Parts Impulse electro pneumatic semi-automatic paintball gun is one of the only electro pneumatic markers on the market for under $500, making it a great option for those seeking a high end marker for an affordable price. The marker has a light weight, vertical feed body for an increased firing rate and an on/off switch integrated into the body. Also new in this model is the integration of the Max-Flo regulator to utilize either HPA or CO2 and the inclusion of a rifled barrel.

Because of the low cost and the high quality of the parts that come with the Smart Parts Impulse, it is a very popular gun with those seeking a high end marker for a low cost. Even stock, it is highly accurate, and shoots at higher rates than some upper end models. The pressure runs low, but can be reduced further with a lighter bolt. The one thing many owners of this marker have issues with is the stock trigger; it has been called loose and unresponsive. The barrel also, like most stock barrels, is slightly subpar and will eventually need an upgrade for any new marker.
